Beckham's fall in puppy love

Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly spent £2,000 flying their dog from the UK to their home in Los Angeles.

It certainly is anything but a dog's life for the pampered pooch, after the couple splashed out on having their beloved pet transported to their American home in style.

David Beckham was keen for his dog, a Christmas present from his wife which he has named K9, to enjoy the best journey on offer, with the dog apparently travelling in a custom-made container and being checked over by a vet following its flight.

The British bulldog puppy must be used to the five-star lifestyle already, as it had been staying with chef Gordon Ramsay before it made its transatlantic voyage.

Hopefully the dog is enjoying a more private life than Katy Perry's cat. The singer recently posted a photo of her feline on her Twitter page after giving her pet, named Kitty Purry, a bizarre haircut which left it looking like a poodle.
