Angelina Jolie Suffers Mild Injury

Angelina Jolie suffered a head injury whilst filming her new upcoming thriller Salt. The actress was taken to hospital in Long Island in New York after filming an action sequence for the new film. It has been reported that Angelina unfortunately suffered a knock to the head and this resulted in a small cut between her eyes.
The actress was taken to hospital for precautionary measures, but was released straight after treatment. A spokesperson for Columbia Pictures said that Angelina suffered a minor bump but was now fine. According to reports the mother of six was back to stand in front of the camera hours after the accident occurred and they were able to resume filming.
Angelina’s new role as Evelyn A. Salt was originally to be played by Tom Cruise as Edwin A. Salt. The producer confessed that changing the main male to a main female wasn’t a simple operation, and had to rethink the role with regards to friendships as well as business and personal relationships. Pictures have revealed the 33-year old actress in new photos with a dark wig and also a softer blonde wig. The film is a spy thriller where a CIA operative tries to clear her name after being accused of working as a Russian sleeper agent and is forced to go on the run. The movie is directed by Phillip Noyce and the script by Kurt Wimmer and Brian Helgelan, shooting in both Washington and New York City and is to be released in 2010.
