Alexandra Burke's hair may go green for the Brits

Alexandra Burke's fans may be in for a shock tonight as the singer turns up on the red carpet at the Brit Awards, as the star has said that she is thinking of dyeing her hair green.

The Broken Heels singer told the Sun that she is considering doing something totally different to her hairdo for tonight's ceremony, which is hosted by Peter Kay.

Although she has been nominated in the best single category for the smash hit Bad Boys, the former X Factor winner stated that she did not think she stood a chance of beating JLS.

Speaking to the news provider, Alexandra said: "Of course I want to win. But those boys have blown it away this year. They deserve to win."

Another former X Factor star who is not holding out much hope for picking up a gong is Leona Lewis.

She revealed to the newspaper that she did not think she will win the best female award she has been nominated for, but does not mind as she does not need the approval that comes from picking up a statuette.
